EVENING MBA: PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS
Overview
Designed to blend broad business acumen with topical depth through a wide variety of Electives. The Evening MBA is a rigorous, business-friendly part-time MBA for early and mid-career professionals seeking to take their career to the next level.
Curriculum Structure
The curriculum is divided into three distinctive elements, ordered to build upon one another to amplify your learning along the way:
Core Business Acumen: This pillar features your core courses and is taught to ensure the broadening of your business perspective. You will develop the skills that will enable you to think more comprehensively across functions, to see connections and consequences, to identify data, and to be action-oriented.
Immersions & Leadership Development: These are intense, deep-dives into areas of business that transcend function and industry, allowing you to apply the perspective and tools gained from your core coursework to emerging business issues. The program includes a Global Immersion and leadership development courses.
Electives: In specific terms, you will have the chance to choose from a range of electives in: Leadership, Strategy, Finance, and Marketing. These courses give you a deeper understanding of key topics that can enhance your career opportunities and expand your expertise. You may also build your own area of focus, leveraging the collective course offerings of other Emory Goizueta MBA programs and other Emory University graduate programs.
Schedule
Students can select between three formats: on-campus, online, or hybrid. Classes typically take place during the week, 6:30pm – 9:30pm ET. Schedules are subject to change based on faculty availability. Students desiring to speed up their time to degree can accelerate by taking more courses per term and complete the program in as little as 2 years.
Career Advising
The Leadership, Exploration, Action, and Development (LEAD) Program is a structured career program for those who want to develop their career and engage in group workshops, self-reflection activities, and one-on-one coaching.
Ideal participants will want to spend the semester focused on career progress and engaging with other career-minded MBA students. Having time to commit to this program and participate in the resources below will allow for tangible career progress. All students, regardless of being in LEAD, can use the resources below but being in LEAD means you are committed to completing and attending all the sessions with a group of peers.
Participants will have:
At least 2 coaching conversations
Attend career events and workshops
Opportunities to meet other like-minded, motivated students
Co-curricular
A broad menu of co-curricular activities augment the coursework to create an enriched experience. Co-curricular leadership activities include leadership coaching fellows program, the US Army’s Leader Reaction Course, and the ATL-evate event. These experiences supplement the robust set of class speakers with informative speakers on broad-based topics that transcend individual courses.

The Evening MBA program draws from the same pool of world-class tenured and clinical faculty as our other graduate programs.
Student Life
Intensive immersion in classes, learning teams, and informal networking with other students during program sessions fosters a strong community and network. Selected event opportunities exist for partners and families.
