Our Mission

Is to develop students, intellectually, personally, and professionally who will become future leaders in the rapidly expanding area of Big Data, Data Science, Machine Learning, AI, and Business Analytics. The program provides the knowledge, skills, and tools that enable, empower, and compel our students to uphold the highest ethical standards of the business and to make significant positive contributions to the organizations they serve and to society as a whole.

MSBA Learning Objectives

• Students will demonstrate sufficient mastery of technical skills including programming, database management and internet technology. 

• Students will demonstrate sufficient mastery of statistical data analysis techniques 

• Students will be able to abstract and analyze complex real-world business problems. 

• Students will be able to integrate technical and statistical skills to develop a data driven decision making approach to solving business problems. 

• Students will be prepared, through coursework and practical experience, to enter the industry as a business data scientist (or other leadership positions in the area of business data analytics). 

• Students will be prepared, through coursework and practical experience, to enter doctoral programs in business schools.
